Antiques: Clocks & Watches
This class covers 17th - 20th century clocks & watches and focuses on evaluation, research and pricing. Before you buy, sell, repair or appraise, this class will give the student interesting, necessary and valuable information on how to identify, evaluate and price antique clocks and watches. Additional Materials: (1) 3 ring 1" inch View Binder, (1) set of 8 tab dividers, (1) 8" x 11" legal pad of paper, (1) pen or pencil.(i.e. loop, 8ft tape measure, magnifying glass, etc. are extra).

Antiques: Furniture 17th to 20th Century
From all the varieties of antiques collected, furniture probably gives the most pleasure. It is not only a work of wood but also of metal which plays a structural and decorative function. In this class, the student is going to be introduced to a wide variety of forms of research, evaluate, and determine the price of a piece as well as information about Museums collection, repair and maintenance. Antiques: Secrets of the Professionals
This program is an introduction to the exciting and wonderful world of antiques. You will be led through the process of understanding the basics of historical identification, researching, rarity and provenance. Learn why, "Condition and Originality" are the basis and key factors in determining the preciousness of our priceless historical treasures. You will gain insight into the development of your observational and memory skills that will lead to the ultimate goal of becoming a Connoisseur in your chosen area of historical interest. This class focuses on evaluation, research and pricing of antique silver and silverplate. The class will provide the student interesting, necessary and valuable information on procedures for performing the search of an antique, methods to determine its value and evaluation of antique silver and silverplate, depending on locations, overall condition, dates and other related conditions. Guitar I
Learn to read simple melodies, music and tablature, tune your guitar, and play chords and songs. Study major & minor pentatonic scales: major, minor and power chords. An enjoyable introduction to playing the guitar. Must bring own guitar. Bring guitar to first class. An excellent class for the beginner to get started in the world of guitar playing. This class will cover the parts of the guitar, finger stretching exercises, the "C" scale plus one, three and four chord progressions, bite abd rest value identification, basic rhythm/strum patterns and much more. Sculpting: Clay
A variety of techniques for creating 3 dimensional sculptures. Introduces basic & advanced techniques for sculpting three dimensional figures in ceramic clay. Open to beginning, intermedite and advanced students. Advanced students get advice while working on personal projects. Small, relaxed, friendly classes. Additional Materials: Although your fingers are the best tools available, other tools are few and cheap. Clay can be purchased in class.

Vocal Phrasing
Phrasing & accenting the lyrics of any song. How to develop stage presence and song presentation. An excellent class for the beginner or advanced vocalist. Students in this class will learn the phrasing of songs while being accompanied by guitar students in the class. The phrasing learned can be used with accompaniment by any instrument.

Welding
Learn to handle a variety of demanding applications in welding and allied process. In-person registration only. Includes hands on training ARC welding, basic metallurgy, joining process selection (MIG, TIG and STICK). Certification test in structural plate and pipe, in destructive testing and x-ray quality. Blueprint reading and welding symbols.
